About 25 people came to Vibe at 1935 Wednesday for Highland Park Patch’s first ever meet up. Vibe is a restaurant in Highland Park.
Patch contributors Ed Brill, Betsy Brint, Sally Higginson and Steve Sadin were joined by Patch bloggers Lane Young and Bob Levi, local business owners like Marla Levitt and Patch readers, including state senator Susan Garrett (D-Lake Forest).
Vibe owner Lisa Norcia went above and beyond as a host, offering free samples of delicious pizza, quesedillas and cupcakes. The bleu cheese and bacon pizza was a crowd favorite, and the basil and tomato pizza included basil fresh-picked from Norcia’s garden.
